perfect for 50 gr and less bullets in a 22-250. Right around 38 grains is the sweet spot, thus the name 380. That is the exact reason it ended up being called 380

Bought h380 because I found it at another retailer for next to dirt cheap . They were going out of business . I heard of it being used in the 308 win but not much .but I figured it would work for plinking ammo .gun was AR LR 308 . I knew it would cause high port pressure but using an Adjustable gas block I knew I could control that issue . I opened my gas block to about 20-25 percent open . Using non- match LC brass . Non match 149 gr milspec bullets and el cheapo sellier & bellot primers .shot 6 shots under 3/4 of an inch with my starting load . I couldn't believe it !!! Higher I went up the worse the accuracy got .i just used three work up loads of 44,45 and 46 grs .no pressure signs from any loads and recoil was like I was shooting a 556.was honestly expecting 3 or 4 inches at a 100 yards .im sure if I care to adjust charge weight and seating depth I could hit 1/2 inch . Just goes to show you can't go by what everyone else says works or doesn't work.it may not be the highest velocity but it sure is accurate.ill be buying 8 lbs next . Of course from brownells when they have their hazmat special offer.
