The Berger 7mm Hybrid Target Bullets are the result of a great deal of research and engineering, all aimed at providing competition target shooters with the best possible projectile in order to ensure that they take home the trophy. The company's chief ballistician, Bryan Litz, designed the Berger 7mm Hybrid Target Bullets with a combination of features. First, the bullets feature a tangent ogive that makes them much more forgiving in relation to bullet-seating depth. Second, the bullets feature the secant ogive found on the company's popular VLD bullets, which perform superbly in the wind.

Worth the wait.
They really are as good as everyone says. I have shot many 180 class bullet. These shoot tighter groups with higher scores.

Very strong extreme range Varmit bullet
My .260 Remington with a 200 grain varmint Hollow point runs out of gas at about 650 yards. I needed something with a little more power for shooting PDs at over 800. The Winchester short Magnum in 7 mm with this bullet and a conservative load starts out at around 2900 and smoke dogs well in excess of that. Combined with Lilja three groove the thing is he answer for long yardage varmints.

Excellent Bullets
Berger 180 Hybrids are my Long Range 7mm bullet of choice. Excellent BC and they fly true. I primarily use them for F-Class, but also in Tactical matches with my .284. I highly recommend them.

Mixed Lot Numbers
Disappointed that all six boxes were not from the same lot #. What this means from a precision rifle shooter's load development is testing of each lot number, multiple trips to the range, and wasted reloading components. I requested all the same lot #, bummer that shipping is unwilling to make this simple request.
