This lead-free, 100% copper-constructed bullet provides extreme penetration every time. Typically, this premium hunting bullet retains 100% of its original weight even after smashing through dense tissue and heavy bone. The Triple - Shock bullet design incorporates a series of precisely positioned rings cut into the bullet’s body. These grooves relieve firing pressure, allowing the TSX to be safely loaded to higher velocities while reducing copper fouling. The bonus is that this is one of the most accurate hunting bullets you can buy.

Bad to the Bone
Shot my Cow Elk last weekend and it was DRT with bang drop results. IMHO it was a better choice than my 45-70 that I usually use, because the AR-15 platform compensated recoils less than my 1895 Marlin lever gun... but a bit heavier. OAL 2.225" using LilGun powder and Rem 9 1/2 primers in Hornady cases.

Bad to the Bone
The 18" Bbl. upper I have clocks 2125 fps. 10 feet from the muzzle using this bullet with Lil Gun Powder. Muzzle energy 2758 and 100 yd energy 1925 so I am going to shoot a cow Elk next week using this bullet and will post the results. And if I get lucky enough to capture the bullet I will post the remaining weight. My AR-15 home built upper is averaging 1 MOA for 10 shots @ 100 yards. I would have rated it a 5 but waiting to see how it performs on an Elk.
