What is the STARLINE, INC - 454 Casull Brass 100/Bag?

Originating in 1957, the .454 Casull is one of the most powerful revolver cartridges available today. This is basically a magnum version of the .45 Colt. It has been lengthened by .100" so it can't be fired in a .45 Colt firearm, though .45 Colt can be fired safely in a .454 Casull. Gun systems are available from Freedom Arms, Taurus, Ruger, Magnum Research, and Thompson/Center.

Starline is a family owned business and prides itself on producing the highest quality brass case available. With a production process focused on quality not quantity, Starline makes the finest brass and has for more than 40 years out of their state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Sedalia, MO. Starline prides itself on being the choice of top handgun shooters across all disciplines, with a production process focused on quality not quantity.

Packaged in 100 count bags.

consistent quality
Starline, no matter what caliber I load, from batch number, and lapsed time of purchase is consistent in quality. Never had a cull case, such as in Winchester cases. Will choose Starline, when available, over other brands as for cost and value.

Don't waste your time with another brand
I'm on my sixth reload of this brass with medium powered loads through my freedom arms model 83. No brass has cracked and all the primer pockets are tight.

Stop bullet creep
454 casull in a light revolver is famous for bullet creep. (bullet jumps the crimp and moves forward, locking up the cylinder.) To stop this, run the new brass thru resizer die, make sure the expander is at least .003 smaller than the bullet, and use a Lee Factory Crimp die to put a hard roll crimp on the round. This brass is great, it will take the heavy loads and the heavy crimp.
