What is the STARLINE, INC - 45-70 Government Brass 100/Bag?

Starline .45-70 brass has been tested at elevated pressures suitable for Magnum Heavy Hunting Loads in adequate gun systems. When loading with black powder, annealing of mouth may be necessary to allow case to properly seal chamber due to lower pressures generated by these loads. Starline cases are produced very strong to withstand high pressure loads associated with smokeless hunting loads and since the only way to make brass harder is to work the material Starline's only option is to leave them stiffer so the customers can anneal for specific application.

Starline is a family owned business and prides itself on producing the highest quality brass case available. With a production process focused on quality not quantity, Starline makes the finest brass and has for more than 40 years out of their state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Sedalia, MO. Starline prides itself on being the choice of top handgun shooters across all disciplines, with a production process focused on quality not quantity.

Packaged in 100 count bags.

Best brass available
I have used every brand of brass there is over the past 40 yrs to reload for my vintage Winchesters and Marlins in .45-70 and .45-90 using mostly 300-400gr cast bullets, but none of it is as good as Starline. Not even close - well, Hornady is close actually.... With most brass I have to trim the cases every 2-3 loads and eventually they all crack at the neck or the cannelure(what's with a cannelure, anyway??); with Starline I can load a case 5-6 times and it still doesn't need trimming and I've never had one crack yet and they easily polish up like new in my tumbler. They definitely have their metallurgy figured out. I've had the same experience with their pistol brass. They really are the best.

Excellent Brass
Top of the line consistent brass for my reloading needs. Best factory brass available.

best quality, consistency and pricing.
I'm a small FFL licensed ammunition manufacturer. I use Starline brass exclusively in all the calibers I load. Always consistent quality, long lasting after many many reloads, , and priced right. No sense in paying extra for Winchester et al...Starline is tops.

The 45~70 Brass
For MY" money , It`s Stairline Brass All the Way" Stairline is one of the Few" , Co`s that chouse to provide Nickel" Brass , which I prefer for several reasons , # 1 it chambers And Extracts better than regular brass , and #2 , it clean`s up quicker that reg. brass and it prep`s a Lot" easyer than regular brass , and it work`s a Lot" easyer in my die`s . I have Stairline Nickel" brass in Several diff. cal`s , rifle and pistol. I Never had one bad thing to say about this brass , and some of it in my .223 rounds , I`ve loaded Over 20 time ! The nickel doesn`t flake off it like some people have said it has done , with other nickel brass. It`s TUFF Stuff . I have not seen that with Stairline Nickel Brass , nore Any other brand nickel brass , I`ve used in the past . Mine just stays nice and shinnie and it Look`s Great using it in my Stainless Steel gun`s , like my Sweet 45~70 Guide rifle . I have a LOT" of 223 Stairline Nickel brass and have reloaded That" brass the most , and the most I have to do with That brass is , trim it down a little , now and then , and then run it back through my Mini 14 rifle. It Feeds Flawlassly through That" pickie rifle . Best darn brass I`ve ever seen for that rifle . Never have" , had a problem with the primer pockets getting to lose either , and I clean those pockets out EVER" Reloading . I`m sold on the stuff . I hope Stairline Co. , Never stops making that" Nickel Brass , I tell ya that .
