What is the ALPHA MUNITIONS - 308 Winchester LRP OCD Brass 100/Box?

The Alpha 308 Winchester brass is available with either a Large or Small Rifle prime pockets and ships in 100 count custom Alpha Munitions plastic cases with perforated bi-layer foam for protection of cases during shipping and can be used for loaded ammunition.

Each 308 Winchester case produced by Alpha Munitions also incorporates the company's OCD with optimized case head technology, which is designed to lengthen primer pocket life, as well as the life of the case overall, even at higher than normal pressures and velocities.

Very consistent weight
I weighed 20 randomly selected cases from the box of 308 large primer brass. The average was 176.6 grains with a sample standard deviation of 0.228. The range was 176.1 to 177.0 grains.

Great brass
Very consistent brass. Shipping was incredibly fast. Came in a nice container similar to an MTM box. Came ready to load. Glad to find good SRP brass!

Great brass
I heard of people using this straight out the box so all I did for prep was chamfer the case mouth and loaded up one of my pet loads. At 125 yards with starline brass Id get about 0.63 so I shaved a tenth off using 175gr SMKs. Brass length is pretty consistent and Im happy with getting a nice box out of the deal. By my math its 0.435 at 100 yards on a 5 shot group
