PETERSON CARTRIDGE - 260 REMINGTON BRASS

Great looking brass

Quality brass that I would say is equal too or better than Lapua. I use this brass exclusively if it is available in the cartridge I need. I have recently built a few .260 Ackley Improved rifles for customers and during fire forming you can always expect to loose at least one case to to some sort of defect. Not with Peterson. I would say I have formed close to 500 pieces so far without issue. Weight and volume are very consistent and American made!

Peterson Brass holds the quality of brass you only see in specialized shooting. I was a big support of Lapua/Norma Brass until I loaded Peterson. Now I have switched! The weight and length is constant! Now we have a American making brass at a higher standard than everyone else. I just wish they made brass in more calibers.

I want to begin by saying that I've not loaded this brass yet. I have a lot of work and equipment to get before I reach that point. However I can already say I'm impressed. The brass is shipped in a plastic bullet box with a Styrofoam pad in the lid to hold the brass in place. A warning says to recompute your load as the interior space may be different from what you had in the past. Not a problem for me since I'm just starting. But on a brief inspection every shell stands away from all other shells and is not bent or dinged and cannot be damaged during shipping. Also as I load my 50 bullet box the loaded bullets just go back into the box the shells came in.
