With a light bullet load, the .243 Winchester brass case works like a charm for long distance varmint and bird hunting. For deer hunting, the optimal choice of bullet weight for .243 Winchester loads is 100 – 105 grains.

Lapua’s .243 Winchester case takes the Large Rifle Primer (LRP). It is available in the new cardboard 100 pcs Lapua brass box. The brand new case box has been designed to keep Lapua brass in pristine condition during shipping, ensuring that your reloading experience is on the best level.

Best Quality
I use it in .223 Rem., 243 Win., 243AI and 30-06. It is top quality. Very consistent length and neck wall thickness. In my opinion, there are a lot of companies that make good quality brass, but none better.

Most Consistent
The best I've found bench rest at 100 & 300 yds. Most consistent on paper of premium brands that I've tried using both a Rem 700 and a Savage 12. The only brass prep I do 'out of the box' is primer pocket debur, just in case.

Awesome Brass!
Lapua brass is the best brass I have ever used. It is a little pricey but well worth it in my opinion. I am loading for a regular old howa 1500 .243 win and just by changing my current loads in weight sorted and prepped remington brass over to the lapua I saw a drastic decrease in my group sizes, like from .8" to .5" at one hundred yards. I am converted for life.

LAPUA 243 WIN
THE BOX CAME W/O ANY PACKING TO PREVENT IT FROM BEING DENTED IN MOVEMENT. 47 OF THE CASES THE RIM WOULD NOT FIT INTO 2 OF MY #3 RCBS SHELL HOLDERS ONE CASE THE NECK WAS SO THIN IT WOULD NOT NECK SIZE. WILL RETURN THIS BRASS.

Variance of weight: 2.4 grains!
I was extremely disappointed in the weight variance of 100 Lapua 243 cases, lot P00524001: from 172.1 to 174.5 grains. I would expect this 2.4 grain variance from cheap cases, but not premium priced Lapua. The distribution was 172.1-172.9(37), 173.0-173.9(40), and 174.0-174.5(23). The last batch of 100 Lapua cases I bought were 308 Winchester and the variance was .7 grains. This is what I expected.
