HORNADY - M-1 Case Tumbler 110 Volt

If you are just starting like I am, this isn't a bad tumbler. It definetaly preforms better when you do not fill it with media. I am tumbling between 80 and 110 rounds of 223 and 308 at a time.

Happy with the performance. Cleaned a mix of 556, 45 and 9mm to a nice finish in about 90 minutes using corncob medium. I was worried it would e loud, but Im happy with it. I run it in my attached garage and cant hear it in the house. It looks well built and the whole thing is light enough to pick up and pour out into the strainer.

Capacity may be an issue for you with this model. The description states that it will hold 180 30-06 cases. That comes out to 4.9 pounds without any media and 5-pounds is the maximum load for the unit. So, if you have 2-pounds of media you can clean about 110 30-06 cases with the unit at its maximum, not 180. The other thing you should keep in mind is that the instruction manual states the unit works the best with a load of Media & Cases between 2 & 4 pounds. The unit performed well in that 2 to 4-pound range, just not able to process as many cases as listed in the description. If you load 100 rifle rounds at a time or 100 to 250 pistol rounds this may be a good choice. If you need more go with the Hornady Magnum unit.
