LYMAN - 2500 PRO MAGNUM CASE TUMBLER

Selected the Pro Magnum as a replacement for my Lee unit which finally died after many years of hard use.

I have had this tumbler for 4 years and put thousands upon thousands of brass casings both pistol and rifle thru it for cleaning. It has never skipped a beat. I highly recommend this product and "If" it ever goes belly up, will replace with the same one. Quality product and highly recommended.

This is the big dog of vibratory bowl tumblers. I like to clean a LOT of brass at once, and short of industrial equipment, this is the answer to my needs. The cleaning action is very good, probably because of the very rounded sides on the bowl. That causes an undercut mouth on the top opening that does make it a bit more difficult to dump the last of the brass and media from this large tumbler, but I find that to be a good trade-off for the efficient cleaning. I use this tumbler for more .50 BMG brass than we shoot at our national shooting convention, or a ridiculous amount of 9mm or .40 brass. My large RCBS media separator basket is heaped to overflowing with clean brass and I need to rock it a bit when filling to pre-sift some of the media to avoid over filling it with media and brass. I've had this tumbler for a couple of years with no problems. It seems well built. I sometimes put smaller bowls from my previous tumbler that died inside the big Lyman Turbo bowl to deburr metal parts with silicon carbide abrasive, or moly coat bullets. This thing is a workhorse, but reasonably priced.
