HORNADY LOCK-N-LOAD NECK TURNING TOOL

The new Hornady® Neck Turn Tool saves hand loaders time and effort at the workbench. Designed for use on a wide variety of case lengths, the Hornady® Neck Turn Tool allows for the use of a cordless drill to make neck turning faster and easier, while providing superior consistency and surface finish. An adjustment knob enables the user to choose detents for .0005” adjustment increments, or no detents for infinite adjustment.

Each neck turn tool will come with a 22 cal, 6mm, 6.5mm, and 30 cal mandrel.

The Hornady® Neck Turn tool is a winning solution for precision hand loaders who want to maximize their case care productivity.

better than my Sinclair and K&M hand turners
If you are neck turning for 7.62 39, 6.5 Grendel, 6 ARC or 22 ARC you need a Hornady #6 Shell holder. The Hornady shell holders work with all of Hornady's products as per Hornady Tech dept. #6 shell holder also works with 357 mag. &, 38 spec. and others I can't remember. Changing calibers Is a bit of a PITA but I do 200 or more of a caliber at a time so it seems fair. I like it!

My first one
This is my first piece of equipment for neck turning. It moves quite a bit (the part that holds the cutting blade) but it works and when I measure afterwords its right on the money. So far I am happy with it, I may pick up a different brand down the road, who knows.

A bargain for the money
I was skeptical when I bought this and I was expecting to return it fortunately it turned out to be an excellent buy. Makes turning necks easy. It replaced the Gracey Neck turned that cost three times as much. I use my corded drill to get more torque because I'm shaving 308 cases down to .012 in one pass. It is awesome. Highly recommended.

I wanted to like it
Comes with two cutters for different shoulder angles. One was fine, the other just cut grooves. Called Hornady, they graciously sent me a new pair for replacements. One of them was less than perfect too. I think I'm done. It seems like a good design. But quality control appears to be lacking. This is why I buy from Brownell's; I know they will take care of me!
