Does not cycle.
Slides have cycling issues with new design. Old design no issues. Numerous stove pipes, extraction and double feeds. I went through normal debugging. Changed ammo, parts including barrel, 1 at a time with no positive fix.
Horrible accuracy
First my credentials Im expert classified idpa shooter and a chief rso that helps zero dozens of pistol red dots a week and this by far is the most inaccurate upper ive ever shot. Absolutely no consistency one group 1 inch high next group 2inch low and left and the next 1 right all at 10 yards. Extremely disappointed
Way out of spec, massive safety liability
Ordered two ported and windowed slides. Sloppy fit, striker too high to mate properly with the trigger bar, can dry fire and leave trigger depressed, wiggle the gun and pin will send itself forward. Broke two trigger bars trying to adjust/increase height of the bar. Replaced Brownell's striker with OEM glock, still unsuitable sear-bar contact.
Test fired them both, both have a tendancy to be more than semi-automatics in the most unreliable way possible. Pull the trigger, will you get one? Two? Seven? Reset the trigger, will you get any more? - probably.
Dangerous and way out of spec, also likely to catch a felony charge. I returned them after attempting twice to reach out to Brownell's support and getting ghosted for a couple weeks.
Quality control on the Brownell's slides seem to be slipping. They used to be quality slides, often a little too tight of tolerance. Now they are likely to get somone killed.
Limp Recoil Spring!
Recoil spring needs work. Very often the trigger failed to reset. It definitely needs to be heavier, closer to the OEM ones. On top of that, I also had issues with the extractor and had many double feeds. Both parts have been replaced and the firearm functions as intended. Overall, very disappointed.
Failed prior to first round
Guide rod failed and sent spring across room as soon as slide was attached to lower. Installed another guide rod and test fired successfully.
Certainly not the quality product I expected
