poorl quality lots of hand fitting
Pro: nice wood selection, good price cons: Mauser 98 parts wont fit right from the factory. Poorly aligned machining. LOTS of hand-work. I think they machine the cutouts from the top and bottom. They did NOT align the top to the bottom in ANY direction. They also did not align the stock vertically. So after MANY hours of hand work, I'm left with gaps and a twisted rifle in the stock. This is basically unacceptable. The only savior is the price. what can I expect for the price. I expect another 5 hours of hand fitting before I'm OK with the rifle's fit. I tried to capture some of what I'm talking about in the photos. The holes are mis-aligned in one photo, and you can see a ledge in the second photo that shouldn't exist.
