Slip two felt pellets on the cleaning rod adapter, apply your favorite solvent and push through the bore to rapidly scrub out dirt and fouling. Pellets fit snugly to easily follow the rifling for fast, efficient cleaning; as you withdraw the rod, the front pellet falls off while the rear pellet polishes the bore. Lets you apply oil, cleaning solvents, J-B® Bore Cleaner or Moly Bore Paste easily with minimal mess.

Plain pellets are made from a highly absorbent, hardened felt

Super Intensive pellets also have interwoven brass fibers for even greater scrubbing action to quickly clean heavily fouled barrels. All require cleaning rod adapter. SPECS: Felt, white. 3/8' (9.5mm) long.

Does a nice job

A little diff to screw onto the jag but once there do a nice job of cleaning. I accused these to lap a new X bolt barrel prior to firing a first round.

Only long enough for one pellet

I'm trying to use this adapter to restore the bore on a .308 semi-auto rifle, thus the cleaning rod has to be inserted from the muzzle. The adapter is just long enough to get 2 VFG pellets on, but without the retaining nut. One with the retaining nut. Of course, without the nut the pellets come off in the bore making things tedious.
