This is a decent and cheap option to get you up and going or if you want a minimalist option. Mine I had to lube and break it in before installing it but afterwards it was perfectly fine. If youre running an optic mount with knobs, bolts, or a latch near the charging handle then you'll probably want an extended one like the KIDD. But overall its great for the cost.

Ruger 10/22 cocking handle
This is a great value for the everyday shooter that needs a replacement cocking handle. It is a little rough when first retracting the spring for installation but, a small amount of light grease applied to the rod and spring solves the issue. Works as advertised! I would purchase it again.
