Compatibility issues are prevalent in reviews, with numerous users noting that the follower does not fit well in popular polymer magazines like ProMag, Magpul, or DPMS. This lack of clear compatibility specifications leads to dissatisfaction among customers who expect broader usability with various magazine types.
Wear and Durability

A significant concern raised by reviewers is durability, with several stating that the follower wore out quickly, losing its ability to properly hold the bolt open after minimal use. This indicates that while it may initially function well, longevity is a critical flaw for many users.

Several competitors found themselves tinkering with the product in hopes of improvement, leading to an overall negative user experience for a significant portion of reviewers.
Installation Issues

Is this even for an AR?
Ordered for local match's single load stages. It didn't look quite right when I got it. I carefully cycled a few cartridges at home where it didn't do right, and I then tested it at the rifle range. Attempted to load four cartridges and it deep-seated the bullets in all four. Never got it to properly feed even once! Not sure why all that up-angle is even cast into the top of the follower- that's why I wondered if it is for a Galil or a AK 74 or something?
got chewed up in a colt metal mag
Not a very good piece of kit. If it was the only one out there, then you just suffer with it. I bought several Bob sleds. They work #1
Could Not Get to Work in Several Mags
I bought several years ago and tried in several mags. Only worked in one of several tried. Modified similar to what worked with plastic followers without success. Very frustrated with what I thought was a premium product. Now use a Bob Sled which has worked well for several years.
Worked great for the first 50 rounds.
Metal to soft and it wore out after my first competition. Will not hold bolt open anymore
Same price as the plastic, BUT...
As a competitive shooter I wanted it to work, but it wouldn't consistently point the round into the chamber properly leading to jams and bullet setback. When it would chamber a round it wouldn't lock the bolt back. All my mags are 20 round ASC with 10 round blockers and orange followers so I tried a yellow no-tilt follower to see if that would help. No solution in sight, so I would not recommend this product unless you like to tinker. I did pay for this product so it's $20 bucks out of pocket.
Very unreliable
This follower led to several jams in my competition service rifle when used in several different magazines. It would not consistently chamber the round and on two occasions it allowed the bullet to get on top of the bolt and get stuck, requiring lots of time and effort to break them free. Finally threw it away when the back side wore down and would no longer hold the bolt open. I'd look elsewhere for a reliable follower
Not for all mags:
Does not fit into DPMS mags either. Should be stated specifically what mags it's for.
