So they def work, I used a wedge as well and it’s as good as it’s going to get! Brand new Colt 6940. This is my second Colt rifle. First one is 25 years old LE tactical, and there is zero play in between the receivers. Not sure when this rifle was manufactured, have a friend that purchased one out of same lot that is exactly like mine. CZ QC must be poor. Anyway these shims are brutally expensive for what you’re getting. I could only get one in, 30 bucks for a tiny washer is excessive !! I found it easier to vice the rifle in a mag block as upside down as I could get it and work the shim in between upper and lower with it mostly closed. Again absolutely works just way too much money for what you’re getting.

Works

Product works well. Wish they provided various thickness shims not just one size. I had to put 2 on one side and 1 on the other, would of been better if I could of been able to shim evenly to center it. I do recommend though.
