Not a fan
This is not a workable solution for receiver slop in my opinion. It is easy enough to install a single shim, but when stacking multiple shims at once is nearly impossible to close the pivot pin. (In my case, a single shim did not produce a noticeable improvement). If one shim just happens to be the goldilocks size to make your receiver fit tight then great. Otherwise, this seems like a massive waste of time and money. The kit is hugely over-priced in my opinion. This should be a $10 or $20 item (e.g. $1-2 per shim, not $3.50 each). Major ripoff for something that does not really deliver on function. Save your money and buy lower receivers with tensioning screws instead (e.g. Aero Precision, Mega, Ballistic Advantage, or similar). Tensioning screws solve the receiver-slop problem the best in my opinion.

Not easy to use
I found these shims difficult to install. Because they do not come in varying thickness, I required more than one. However, I could only get one easily installed. There was still enough play that I wanted to add another, but I needed a thinner one and could not get a second installed. Furthermore, they are a pain to get lined up. Don't get me wrong, it's doable, but I wrecked a couple of them trying to get it lined up correctly. I returned the item because it ended up not being helpful. Most shim kits come with various thickness shim disks. At this price point, I was shocked to find these were just 10 of the same.
