Doesn't fit
I should've read the reviews. Doesn't fit just gets stuck. I thought I could trust Brownells.
avoid this vice block
good lord..."shave to fit" really? save your money, spend a little extra and buy a "NO-MAR" that actually fits and works. very disappointed that Brownell's sells junk like this
lower block will not fit ar-15. To big.I
I bought this kit to work on my 7 ar-15's and the lower block will not fit any of them because it is way to big. Not even close. What a waste of time and money. Buy a different brand.
Does Not Fit
I have tried this block on at least 6 different lower receivers. It does not fit. Get stuck each time. Poor quality control. I do not recommend purchase of this item.
Would not fit!
I have a BCM lower that this block would barely fit. In fact it wouldn’t even go in half way which I then struggled to get out. Not sure if was made wrong or just doesn’t work with BCM. Looking for something else.
Doesnt fit into mag well
It's super tight to fit in, as in I couldn't fit it. In the videos I've watched, it seems this wasn't always the case, which is odd. I would suggest spending a bit more and go with the midwest version 100043933
For a piece of plastic that is almost 30 dollars
For the price you are paying for this product, you would expect it to work as intended. Sadly, this product is flawed; looking from the top down, there is a noticeable size difference from one side to the other. (And I don't mean flipping it either) If you try to place your lower receive on this, you might get very jammed in place and maybe even cause the lower to split with enough force. If you are looking for an alternative, look into NO-M.A.R vice blocks, the material they use is cut to perfection, and it is very strong.
DOES NOT FIT CHRISTIANSEN ARMS CA5FIVE6
This product does not fit inside my lower. I have a brand new Christiansen Arms CA5FIVE6 lower chambered in .223 Wylde. IT will go in maybe half an inch then binds and I cannot get it to go further.
Does Work
Does not fit on the following lower receiver... Aero Precision M4E1, Anderson lower for 5.56/.223, RRA LAR-15 rifle's lower receiver, S$W Sporter II rifle's lower receiver, APF lower. In fact, none of my AR lowers or rifles can be used with this product. Once inserted, this vise block has to be either wiggled out or knock out. Quite a problem. I would not recommend this product AT ALL!
Doesn't fit my Aero ME41 lower receiver.
Not sure how you can mess up a rectangular piece of plastic but this does NOT fit my AERO M4E1 lower receiver. I will need to shave parts of it down for it to fit properly.
