so-so success with stubborn leading
I by no means had a smoothbore situation going. This was in a CZ p07 barrel with some light leading. I used Butch's bore shine, shooters choice lead remover, mpro7, hoppes no9, wipe out, and finally the Lewis . The Lewis did in fact scrape out some lead but there is still some deep in the lands toward the muzzle that refuses to come out. I think due to the fact that it is one pass then you have to unscrew the rod and assemble it again to run another pass this prevents you from persistently rubbing the patch back and forth to make this more expedient. I will do as many others have recommended and take a smaller diameter brush or mop attachment and wrap some chore boy copper scouring pad around it and then just give it the full beans.
