I have a 2nd Series Woodsman and a 3rd Series Huntsman. I bought 3 of these magazines to try out. One worked great in both, one worked fine in the 3rd series but sticks going into the 2nd series. The third was too tall and needed a lot of filing on the feed lips before it would allow the slide to go forward on either.

Does not work. Colt's fault.

They do not work. I tried for hours to get one to fit my 1970 Colt Huntsman and it quite simply will never fit! The front feed-lips of the magazine (facing the receiver) matches the colt at 4.95mm deep but it's 7.59mm wide. It's supposed to be 6mm. The rear feed-lip (facing the bolt-face) is 5.77mm wide, not 5.56mm. The rear feed-lips are too tall and block the bolt from cycling the action. I called Colt and they admitted that anyone who makes a clone of their patented magazine design is "infringing on their rights". Colt is preventing TRIPLE-K from making functional reproduction magazines for a Colt firearm last made in 1977.
