Why 3" thick (wide) for a 2 row wheel?
I like the price, i like the wires even though i haven't actually used it yet. I know it will do "what it do" but.. Why on earth is a 2 row wheel 3" wide? It BARELY fits in my 5/8" arbor and the nut is only half way on the end. When i say it "BARELY" fits. What i really mean is it doesn't fit.. Hopefully some regular 5/8" washers will give me a few extra fractions of a inch. A wire wheel probably has more torque on it as well seeing how the wires can whip and wrap around objects grabbing them. Also, the piloted 1/4" hole is kinda a PITA. Very luckily i had a piloted milling bit with a perfect 1/4 pilot, that was also a 5/8" OD. If it was just center punched on both sides we could all just simply drill it up to size for whatever size arbor we need. It would also be cheaper and save a step AND tooling in the manufacture. The price is great though compared to others. Just needs improvement.
