Genuine Colt M4/A4 Detachable Carry Handle is the same component used on military issued carbines and rifles. Mil-Spec rear sight features elevation adjustment up to 600 meters (marked 6/3). Standard A2 style adjustments allow for easy windage and elevation changes. Rear peep features the standard military two apertures, one small and one large. Carry handle easily attaches to Picatinny upper receivers via two, easy to grasp thumb nuts. Forged aluminum body, and steel hardware ensure that this sight system will hold up. Aluminum is hard coat anodized and steel components are parkerized. Carry handle features the traditional carry handle mount, so that that optics can be mounted to the top as on a standard A2 carry handle.

When bottoming out the BDC to 6/3 there is no tactical click feel. Instead feels like you’re just tightening the cap of a Ketchup bottle.

Not great, expected better

The finish is nice and sight seems ok, but the base doesnt match up to the rifle no matter which 1913 slots you use. I ordered this because I was putting it on a Colt 6940P and wanted a Colt product, there are no colt markings and it doesnt properly line up with the colt receiver. Also the handle is to small to be used as a handle (I have to jam my fingers through it and they get stuck, and I have mens medium-large hands). My fingers fit through but It actually physically hurts your hands to try to grip it and close your hand... I have added pictures of the bad receiver match up, also pics of my old LMT rear sight that matches up exactly as it should. In short dont do what I did and spend the extra money on the colt brand handle... I will keep and use it since this is only a backup, but Im pretty disappointed for almost $200 and it doesnt fit right and cant actually function as a handle... but the finish and sight are ok so I gave it a 3, otherwise this would be a 1-2 star review
