  • The FastFire 3 will work with virtually every "optics ready" handgun. However, the Burris supplied mounting screws may not be the correct length for every single handgun. Please contact the firearm manufacturer for specific screw lengths necessary for correct mounting.

Battery difficult to install
Like the light weight. The 8 MOA dot is bright and is not washed out in bright light. Would like to kick every engineer involved with development in the balls several times. Installing the battery cap is nearly impossible. They could have made the red dot a few millimeters higher. Seems as uf there are only 1 or 2 threads. Expect the red dot will contine to work but will likely need to get another replacement when I strip the 1 or 2 theads that hold the battery in place. Idiots one and all for screwing up the battery cap design. Would like to use the red dot on my 8 shot revolver. If you dont hold the handgun in exactly the proper position, the dot disappears. Would not recommend for self defense. If you need to get a shot off fast, good luck with that. For someone the shoots every day, expect the dot acquisition becomes easier with time. But I shoot a couple Steel matches a month. Expect my times would be better with iron sights. The dot does make hitting distant targets easier. It just takes longer to get the shots off. Expect other carry optics red dots suffer the same problem. This red dot would be more suitable for a shotgun or rifle. friends that have these on rifles dont struggle to find the red dot. Do have an ancient Tasco red dot that is 16 moa and has a huge diameter tube. Expect I will swap out the red dot on my 9mm PCC. The Fast Fire 3 will be moved to my 9mm PCC. Dont have the time to constantly practice quickly acquiring the dot
