It was defective. Don't waste your time/money
I had read the reviews and watch YouTube video reviews on this trigger before purchasing. I don't know if it was just my luck, but the one I received from Brownells (new and in the box) was defective. When I pulled the trigger, the hammer would release but would stop short of making contact with the firing pin. I though there probably was some obstruction or the receiver wall was preventing the hammer from fully moving forward. I removed the trigger, and examine both the receiver and trigger. There was nothing wrong with the receiver. I could clearly see there was something wrong with the position of the hammer (when fired) but couldn't identify what was causing that issue. I installed a different trigger in my receiver and there were no issues. I waited a while to receive the trigger and now will need to wait for Brownells to receive the defective part and refund my money. I wouldn't waste your time and peace of mind with these triggers. Spend an additional $30 bucks and buy a Timney Impact AR-15 Trigger Group.
Trigger felt good, but gun wouldn't fire
The trigger looked great and dry firing it felt good as well. Went out to fire the gun (Colt M4) and it would never fire. I have a couple of high-end RISE triggers and they have been great, but this budget model is a disappointment. Sending it back...
Not Reliable.
Installed per directions. Good initial feel but started hanging after one magazine, unreliable reset, unreliable release. Returned.
Rave-less
Failed to fire (light primer strike) 3 times and jammed 6+ times in the first 100 rounds fired. Very disappointing!
This one failed
I have bought several rise armament triggers before. While I find there are other triggers that are smoother they carry a higher price tag and this one is right in the middle for price vs. quality. However, this time the trigger refused to release. In and out of the gun I could not get it to operate. I have no idea why.
Faulty out of package
Installed the trigger according to the Website. The trigger hangs and is causing light primer strikes. I have contacted the manufacture and Brownells, we will see what happens.
