Not really worth it
I didn't realize this wasn't for AIC magazines. This bottom plastic only works with the magazine it comes with. The magazine it comes with is extremely cheap. It fell apart the first time I loaded it in. Would not buy again, pretty disappointed with it.
Mag conversion
Didn't realize this was all polymer item. My mistake, but I won't use it on any of my guns. It won't hold up to required torque settings.
Fits factory COAL
Made of thin plastic, the magazine doesnt slide in or catch very nicely, I had to do some sanding to get it to take smoothly. I like to load my own ammo, playing with the seating depths to get better accuracy. This magazine is pretty short, working better with a tangent ogive bullet, seating anything with a long secant ogive wont fit. My bolt had a hard time picking up rounds out of the magazine. They didnt feed very well, so I had to make sure it was chambering every time. I had always wanted to get this kit, and it hurts to admit that it isnt worth $70. Its made of cheap molded plastic replacing nice aluminum bottom metal, and really doesnt work that well. Nice idea, but probably better avoided.
