AR ANTI-WALK PINS

AR ANTI-WALK PINS Reviews & Ratings

The SI Anti-rotation/Anti-walk pin kit adds an extra degree of security to prevent your pins from walking out under fire or harsh use. Toolless installation and disassembly allows for ease of maintenance, with no small screws to back out or become lost. The smooth polished surface allows for a smoother trigger pull with standard trigger groups, and the additional retention is essential for drop in trigger packs. QPQ nitrided high strength steel prevents corrosion and wear providing for a lifetime of use.

Quality control is lacking.
Pins are much softer than the originals and the fit is loose. Whether this will affect longevity or function, only time will tell. I have my concerns but do recommend this product with the stated reservations.

Hit and miss
The first one snapped right in, tight as a drum. The 2nd one snapped in and was loose, looked like it was barely hanging on. Couldn't tighten it up either. It was bent out for some reason. I'm blaming weak, flimsy metal. Possibly improper technique, but the metal still shouldn't be that weak. I gave it 3 stars because one worked and the other one didn't. I also question the ability to reuse the one that DID work if I decide to replace the trigger down the road. Spend the extra money and get the KNS. Just my 2

Strike Industries Anti Walk Pins
Clips are VERY difficult to attach and close. Also, you may have to reverse the side you have the clip on because of the other parts used on your gun. Once in, they are solid.

Difficult installation
Putting the pins through is the easy part. Rotating them to use the retaining clip isn't. Getting the final position just right so you can force the opening over the pin is time consuming and can scratch the side of the receiver. The good part of all this is those pins are not going anywhere.
