Aero Precision Enhanced M-LOK (EM) Handguards provide a lightweight free float design for your custom M5 .308 build. The M-LOK system allows advanced modularity past the current 1913 picatinny rail system. Machined to mil-spec dimensions and engineered to perfection, this handguard eliminates bulk while retaining strength and stability. Available in 15” lengths, as well as black or flat dark earth cerakote.

Nice quality, installation needs help

First, the hand guard itself is nice. Its bigger and wider than some slimmer ones out there. The issue I have is the barrel nut that you buy separately to install this on an Aero m5 setup. The barrel nut is a poor design by Aero. You only have 4 slots for the gas tube to go through to the upper receiver and they give you some shims to take up the space. There are no instructions with this either. Had to talk to Aero to see how much to torque it as well. If I had to do it over with I would probably not buy this. Should have waited for an Atlas model to be available. Im giving this product only 2 out 5 due to the headaches with the stupid barrel nut.
