2
Flimsy polymer
This is a very flimsy polymer trigger guard and trigger bolt hold cracked when torqued to spec. The magazine is of good construction with a good magazine spring. The Magpull version has a much better quality trigger guard, but their magazine is not as good as this one.
2
Weak mag spring
I purchased one of these 5 round kits for my Bergara Wilderness .308 ( which takes all Rem 700 accessories). It will function fine when you have 5,4, or 3 rounds in the mag . When you get down to the last 2 , the rounds WILL NOT pick up and go into the chamber. The spring is way too weak to even push the bullets high enough up into the mag for the bolt to catch the rounds. I had high hopes for this kit . It fit perfectly into the stock, and seemed to work well until you get to the last 2 rounds ( every time)
2
Failure to feed
I was hoping this would work because there aren't a lot of options for .22-250 detachable magazines. The magazine spring is too weak and the cartridges don't consistently feed.
2
Direct fit but poor quality.
Direct replacement. Fits well in my 700 with no modifications needed. Magazine release could be bigger, would make it a lot easier to release the magazine. I would give the magazine a half star rating. VERY CHEAPLY made and hardly any spring tension.
