ENHANCED SLIDE STOP FOR GLOCK® 48

ENHANCED SLIDE STOP FOR GLOCK® 48 Reviews & Ratings

Small pistols can present big problems under stress reloads. On top of limited magazine capacity, undersized controls can hamper-or even prevent-a proper reload. The stakes are clear in that event. Don't run the risk….install a Vickers Tactical Slide Stop. It features the same positive V-shape with deep serrations that enables fast manipulation, in both directions, found on the original VT Slide Stop. A huge improvement to the Glock® 48 and 43X.

Fits Glock® Model 48 and 43X. Has a stronger spring to handle the extra slide mass of the G48 slide. Reshaped thumb pad with deep serrations, allows easy slide lock and release, even with gloves. Precision stamped from 4130 chrome moly steel, with non-glare black finish.

Same as the other guy
Slide holds open with one round left instead of on an empty mag. Feels much better than the stock slide release but I'm not gonna sacrifice function for feel, so I'll be swapping the factory part back into my gun.

Do I need to bend it??
Well, what can I say? I installed this aftermarket part with high hopes. Unfortunately, it locks back with 1 round still left in the magazine. It does this with all 5 magazines that I have. Shall I put it in a vice and attempt to bend it so the follower doesnt engage this slide stop/release 1 round early?? Did I just get a lemon? I guess Ill give that a try, otherwise I will reinstall the original slide stop/release.
