New version for G19 is terrible!
I ordered two of these to mount in my G19 Gen 3s and they are not what they used to be. Essentially, they are now mounting their Gen 5 trigger shoe onto their Gen 3 trigger bars and call it for Gen 1-5. This causes the trigger pin to walk out on the right side of the gun. It also causes the trigger slide lock to move out of position and become easily skewed, requiring constant re-fitting. I reached out to Overwatch Precision and here's the response that I received: "Polydat shoes are manufactured and marketed as Gen 1-5. What you are experiencing is called a pivoting pin and has zero functional or safety issues. We manufactured this after putting over 10k rounds through gen 3 and gen 4 Glocks with this design. If you are unhappy with this you can return them to Brownells for a refund. More information can be found on our website but you did in fact get the correct trigger that you ordered." Esentially, they are telling me that a sloppy trigger with a walking trigger pin and sloppy trigger slide lock is normal and safe. Unfortunately, I will not be buying from this company any longer. So sad.
