M1 Carbine Magazine
Great price, nice fit, springs are a bit stiff needs to be worked in.
Best Quality and an excellant price
The only negative about these is the sharp edge at the top of the body. It makes loading by hand "interesting". However, I have compared them to original magazines and they also have the sharp edge.
Works for me
I have purchased these mags in the past and they seem to work fine in my original M1 carbine. I like the bolt stop feature.
M1 Carbine Magazine
I bought 2 of these and like both. The spring is on the strong side. Both worked as described and the bolt hold open worked flawlessly. These save using my WWII issued originals.
Very nice magazine
Locks up tight in both a 1943 Inland and a new AO M1 carbine. Great looking mags with a nice blue finish. Reason for only 4 stars is that I havent fired them on the range yet but they feed dummy rounds with no problems. Brownells had the best price on them that I found.
Great magazines (almost)
Purchased an Auto Ordnance carbine from Brownell's along with 3 of these magazines. - one 30 rnd and two 15's. The 30 rnd mag works flawlessly. As another reviewer stated the last round will not feed from the 15's. Spring and/or follower problem? If Brownells knows the reason I would like to hear about it and a solution.
Fifty percent great!
After being discouraged with the Kahr/AO mags at three times the price, thought I would try these out. Bought two 15 rounders for Auto Ord M1, one of them works better than the factory ones, the other one had multiple fail to feed issues and will not load the last round without SIGNIFICANT manipulating (jiggling). The mag spring may be inserted backwards (from the factory), I will check and update if that helps. Otherwise, half delighted, half annoyed. The price is fantastic.
