What Reviewers Are Saying
Optical Quality
75%
Many reviews praise the glass quality of the VIPER PST GEN II, noting that it provides a bright and clear image, particularly at lower and medium magnifications. Some users do mention slight image distortion around the edges, but overall, the optics are considered very good for the price.
Value for Money
80%
Reviewers frequently highlight the scope's great value, especially when compared to more expensive alternatives. Many feel that the quality and performance justify the price, making it a solid investment for those not wanting to spend much more on higher-end optics.
Adjustment Controls
60%
There are mixed feelings about the adjustment controls. While some users find them tight yet manageable, others mention they feel squishy or are not very responsive. Some users suggest that tactical shooters may find them less ideal for quick adjustments, impacting user experience.
Accessories and Features
55%
Some reviewers express disappointment in the included accessories, with specific remarks about the basic scope covers and the need for a throw lever for easier magnification adjustments. Comparisons with the Strike Eagle point to better included features for the same or lower price, suggesting room for improvement.
Weight and Build
50%
The weight of the VIPER PST GEN II receives mixed feedback; while some appreciate its solid construction, others find it heavier than expected. The general consensus is that it feels well-built, reducing concerns about durability, but some prefer lighter options for their setups.

Good scope and mount combo
Mounted this on a 16" carbine in 5.56 NATO. The mount is fine; it does it's job; like other reviewers, I would appreciate a slightly less flashy Brownell's marking. The scope is made in The Philippines. Illumination dial has a slight amount of play going from off to brightness settings but nothing I'm concerned with. The windage and elevation adjustments are tight and audible (unlike the Gen I scope I had). A slight bit of image distortion exists around the edges but I would still rate the glass quality as good. Overall a good purchase.
