The magwell is slightly flared at the base to be wider than the stock opening, which is ideal for quickly inserting the magazine in the pistol during reloads helping build proper muscle memory for improved consistency and reload time.
This ZEV TechnologiesPRO Magwell is a great addition for any shooter looking for an edge with out the bulk flared competition style magwell.
The addition of a magwell will help keep the users hand in place while shooting.
Generation 4 back straps may need to be modified if used with this product, back straps must have bottom internal tabs trimmed.

Use on Polymer 80

I used the mag well for a Glock 19 on a polymer 80 full sized, and it fits fine. This mag well works fine with standard Magpul magazines Glock 17.

Excellent Magwell

I was looking for a low profile Magwell for my Gen 4 Glock 19 but I was hesitant at first to spend this amount of money. I will say that it is worth every penny. The install took 30 seconds and the fit on the pistol is absolutely phenomenal. I was concerned by the previous review that said standard base pads would not work, So I called Zev themselves and they assured me standard capacity mags with OEM base pads would work. So to clarify, in my experience FACTORY BASE PADS FUNCTION FLAWLESSLY WITH NO MODIFICATIONS. Another added benefit besides the quicker reload times is that it forces your hand up on the grip while firing, which the higher the grip the less felt recoil you experience. All in all I consider this Zev magwell one of the best Glock 19 accessories I have purchased to date.
