Heavy and not as short as would think.

Expected this to be somewhat light, but instead it was extremely heavy. I purchased this for my sons compact to give him a shorter length of pull. However it wasnt any shorter than his compact composite stock and was much heavier. Will be returning for a refund.

Fitting required

The product is certainly aesthetically pleasing, the side saddle fastens securely to the butt, the adjustable LOP is fantastic for HD and maneuverability, but the fit to the receiver of the 870 is quite off and the stock rattles when moved. This is frustrating. The fit can be reshaped to match the receiver with a rasp and sandpaper. For a stock that is supposed to match this specific model of gun, the fit should be perfect.
