The MOE Fixed Carbine Stock - Mil-Spec model (Magpul Original Equipment) provides an inexpensive, fixed, non-collapsing stock option for Mil-Spec size carbine-length buffer tubes.

The MOE Fixed Carbine Stock has a slim profile, improved cheek weld, and multiple sling attachment options, and is compatible with ASAP® Plates and PRS® Extended Rubber Butt-Pad. Installation is non-armorer and does not require the castle nut or lock plate to be removed.

Specifications based on standard-length (flat-back) M4 Carbine receiver extension and may vary depending on tube manufacturer.

Magpul fixed Stock

Great Stock for it's intended Purpose. However, It does NOT come with a QD mount cup installed as shown on the picture on the box. It is not clear that this little cup needs to be purchased separately; which is about $18 more. No fault of Brownells...they put it in the description on their website

Good but some fitting required

This stock is as good as any other piece of Magpul gear I've purchased over the years. However after fitting the front adapter and stock onto the buffer tube I found that I could not get the screw to catch. As it turned out, the screw holes were not quite forward enough to keep the buffer tube from interfering with it during installation. It wouldn't work with either adapter no matter how much I pushed the stock assembly forward. I got around the problem by carefully sanding down the side of the adapter that contacts the receiver until I got enough clearance. If not for that I'd give it 5 stars instead of 4

To Short

This stock is much shorter than I expected. It's a full 2" shorter than the standard collapsible stock when fully extended. It does illuminate the rattling that the collapsible has. Probably wouldn't have bought it if I knew it was going to be so short. I'm only 5'7" and it's really shorter than I like.
