Mold defect needed filed
First Magpul item I can remember having to work on out of the box. Had to take a file and sandpaper to the excess plastic they left. May not look it in the pics, but it was sharp enough around the edges that I'd have ripped the web of my hand open for sure. Other than that I for to my Aero lower just fine and seems to shoulder fine. The storage space is plenty big enough for batteries or whatever.
Would you recommend this? Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Solid, but a bit of a gap...
Was looking for a fixed rifle stock that wasn't A2 style and relatively cheap. This fit the bill well enough. The stock installs just like you'd expect. Doesn't require a spacer like with an A2 stock; uses just a single screw through the back of the stock under the storage compartment door. The screw required quite a bit of torque to install, but it can take it. Though the stock is securely fastened to my lower, the fit leaves a bit to be desired. There's a gap near the bottom where it mates to the back of the lower receiver and I can see the detent spring through it. Not sure if this is because of the stock itself, my install of the buffer tube, or an out of spec buffer tube. That's my only gripe, though.

Better than standard A1/A2/A3 stock.
The fit and finish is excellent. It feels more secure than the telescopic stocks. Since I no longer have a need for heavy body armor, I find the length of pull to be perfect. I gave it a FOUR STAR rating as it should come with at least one QD receptacle installed or packed with it. Having to buy those separately adds to the price. If it were packed with one, it would get a 5 star rating. I've now put this stock on 4 carbines/rifles.
