Not a drop-in!
This is a high-quality non-ramped barrel that doesn't require modifying a traditional 1911 frame to convert 45ACP to 9mm. Since most 9mm barrels are ramped, this is a good thing! This "drop-in" required ~4hrs of fitting, including changing barrel links. I expected this, so I'm not surprised. BTW, you also need a 9mm slide for the conversion because the breech face needs to be sized for the smaller round for proper extraction/ejection.
