Best as a hunting sling
As a high-power competitor I thought I'd give one of these a try to see how they compare to Ron Brown and Turner slings as a spare. Unfortunately the description considerably overstates the quality. Hooks are definitely thinner than the better slings, but are still strong enough to do the job. The leather used is extremely elastic and actually rubs off on my shooting coat leaving leather fluff on the sleeve. Overall just not a sturdy platform for the serious competitor This sling would be more suitable as a hunting sling than a competition sling. If you're a serious competitor stick with Ron Brown or Turner. Kudos to manufacturing in the USA, just needs better grade of leather.
