Shotgun barrel flexhone
Used the course then fine hone to remove deep scratches in barrel from unknown cause. While it beautifully polished the barrel it didn't remove the scratches. Worth a try but didn't work as well as I hoped.

too short
I figured the 12 inch would be long enough to handle this old 410 I was restoring for my grandson- but it wasn't- there remained a 3 inch section in the middle that I could not hone- It did a beautiful job on what I could reach but the center section well it didn't look too good. I had a bit extender but it was too large in diameter to get into the barrell. I ended up with a wirebrush with some steel wool on it and did a pretty good job- I would like to see an extension that would fit inside the barrell.
Great Product
This system slicks up a shotgun barrel in no time and it looks great. Good for polishing up old barrels or putting a custom touch on new guns. Easy to use with a good hand drill. The Flex Hone Oil can be messy so make appropriate preparations to work space.
