Wow
I can’t remember clearer glass for under a grand in the past decade. I review my second and yet to be received scope after I’ve shot some rounds under it.
Quality Optic
I recently purchased the 1-8 MPO. Overall I have been very impressed and used to replace a 2-10x32 pst (also great optic). I replaced it to get the 1x benefits: Pros: -Great Glass- I own an ACOG and it is on PAR. Slightly better than PST glass- which is also good. -Reticle is simple and makes sense. I’m not a huge bdc fan for longer ranges. -Turrets track well and was able to zero at 100M easily -Eye box is forgiving and wide field of view. I would recommend a SPR style mount that pulls the optic forward. Cons: -24.7 OZ is heavy- but similar to a pst with a similar price. I mitigated by using an Aero precision mount and the total package was 27-28 ounces. -Illumination: Not red dot or nuclear bright- but bright enough to see during daylight. With the optic being SFP I had no issues conducting rapid target acquisition at 25 meters.
Legit
Striking similarities to my Eotech Vudu. Very happy with everything. Magnification turret is a little tight but it might loosen up as I use it. Glass is clear with very generous eye relief, good reticle. Dot is not quite full sun daylight bright but it’s close. Mechanicals track very well, no need to go past a value and come back, clicks are very tactile. Bonus it came with flip up caps. I’ll probably get another one
Great scope!!
Clear at all magnifications. All controls, power shifts and elevation/windage adjustments are easily accomplished by someone with older hands (me!). Reticle is very useful and well thought out. Including the mount in a package is a plus. I own at least one of each different power scope in Brownells" MPO Series. I am very satisfied with each one in the series. Highly recommend any of the three different power scopes in the MPO series as a super buy.
I liked the 1st one so much I bought 2 m
Good glass, good reticle, and great eye relief.
Decent little scope
As clear as any Zeiss or leupold I’ve used. And adjustments are smooth. The red dot isn’t perfectly set in the reticle but it’s pretty close. Close enough to not really complain about, but that’s the only drawback I can identify.
