RMR CUT SLIDE FOR GLOCK® 34 Reviews & Ratings

The Brownells RMR Cut Glock®34 Slide is machined entirely from heat treated stainless steel and features a black-nitride finish to protect it from corrosion and wear. The Brownells RMR cut slide features OEM style rear serrations and additional front serrations for enhanced manipulation. The RMR cut slide also features a window cut on the top between the front serrations that reduces weight.

The machining on the Brownells RMR Cut Glock®34 Slide doesn't end there; the slide also features a cutout sized to fit a Trijicon RMR red-dot sight as well as the Holosun HE508T, HS507C, and HS407C, allowing for fast, easy target acquisition. Internally, the slide is machined to Glock®factory specs, so it'll accept all standard G34 components.

Channel liner required for these slides. Channel liners are a press fit and require a tool to install.

Disappointed

The slide I received was too wide to fit in any of the G34 holsters I tried, by several manufacturers. I bought the slide specifically for competition, so not being able to use a holster was a make or break piece of the equation for me. The other issue that I did not care for was the lightening cut on the underside by the striker channel. There is no reason for this cut (same as the window on top) other than to reduce the weight, which in a model 34 defeats part of the purpose in a competition pistol. The slide was surprisingly light weight compared to an OEM version, on par with a 17. As far as the overall craftsmanship, the slide appeared cleanly made with an even finish. I returned the item with no hassle, Brownells is great to do business with.
