RMR CUT SLIDE FOR GLOCK® 26

RMR CUT SLIDE FOR GLOCK® 26 Reviews & Ratings

Known for its compact size that makes it an ideal option for concealed-carry use, the Glock®G26 has often had fewer customization options than its larger siblings, the Glock®G17 and G19. With the launch of the Brownells RMR Cut Glock®26 Slide, all that changes. The Brownells RMR Cut Glock®26 Slide is machined entirely from heat treated stainless steel and features a black-nitride finish to protect it from corrosion and wear. The Brownells RMR cut slide features OEM style rear serrations and additional front serrations for enhanced manipulation. The RMR cut slide also features a window cut on the top between the front serrations that reduces weight (and makes it look pretty sweet, too).

The machining on the Brownells RMR Cut Glock®26 Slide doesn't end there; the slide also features a cutout sized to fit a Trijicon RMR red-dot sight or the Holosun HE508T, HS507C, & HS407C allowing for fast, easy target acquisition. Internally, the slide is machined to Glock®factory specs, so it'll accept all standard G26 components.

Channel liner required for these slides. Channel liners are a press fit and require a tool to install.

Includes patented optic cut technology pioneered by ZEV Technologies. Patent No. RE47335

use 14 lb recoil spring and 124 gr bulle
It took me awhile to figure out how to get this to cycle. You have to use a combination of the lighter 14 lb recoil spring and the heavier 124 grain bullet. Also lots of Gun oil.

Good purchase
Overall good purchase: there are a few caveats to go along here so keep these in mind. My intent with this purchase was to keep a reasonably sized summer carry rig workable but capable of more than basic CCW (suppressed and optic level accurate). Mine has an RMR Type 1 with the Trijicon factory work done on the battery contacts (RMR Type 1 works 4.0 now without a hitch). Mid 40's eyes are starting to like the dot better than Std sights on some days so there's that. I've got a threaded barrel (Silencerco from Brownells). Accurate and dropped right into a Gen 3 frame/slide as well as this Brownells slide. No issues there. The top of the Brownell's slide is slightly thinner than a factory slide from what I can tell. I had to get a slightly shorter front sight screw but otherwise no issues. The rub came in when I tried to reliably shoot the 26 threaded setup with my very heavy .45 ACP suppressor. It is titanium and steel and "overbuilt" which I love but is a bit too much weight on that little barrel/slide setup. I'm sure there are plenty of suppressors that'll run fine on it but I'm not having great luck with underpowered 9mm training ammo (this shouldn't be a surprise to anyone familiar). It works just fine with full power defensive loads in 115, 125, 135 and 147 cycle just fine as long as you don't limp wrist, it is clean and the piston is lubed. Sacrifice anything in that formula and you'll realize that a setup like this is pushing the boundaries of physics when it comes to subcompact handguns. -That was a little long-winded but I hope it helps. There were no burrs or other issues with the machining of the slide. The finish is nice. It fit my existing holster with only minor mods for the optic. Overall can't complain a bit for the price point. Oh, almost forgot: compared to an MOS cut Glock 19, the RMR sits quite a bit lower. This brings the suppressor sights up into the window more than I'd care for (think lower 1/3 like view) but it is easily overcome with training and round-count. Just worth mentioning. Red-dots take some time to train to but they're worth it once you put in the time and effort. Thanks Brownells.

Easy optic mounting for G26
I wanted to mount a my Holosun optic on my carry gun and this was the easiest way to do it. Rock solid mount, after about 500 rounds still tight. The only issue was some residue in the extractor plunger hole that needed to be polished out. Great fit and finish, Im very satisfied with this slide.
