RMR CUT SLIDE FOR GLOCK® 26

RMR CUT SLIDE FOR GLOCK® 26 Reviews & Ratings

Known for its compact size that makes it an ideal option for concealed-carry use, the Glock®G26 has often had fewer customization options than its larger siblings, the Glock®G17 and G19. With the launch of the Brownells RMR Cut Glock®26 Slide, all that changes. The Brownells RMR Cut Glock®26 Slide is machined entirely from heat treated stainless steel and features a black-nitride finish to protect it from corrosion and wear. The Brownells RMR cut slide features OEM style rear serrations and additional front serrations for enhanced manipulation. The RMR cut slide also features a window cut on the top between the front serrations that reduces weight (and makes it look pretty sweet, too).

The machining on the Brownells RMR Cut Glock®26 Slide doesn't end there; the slide also features a cutout sized to fit a Trijicon RMR red-dot sight or the Holosun HE508T, HS507C, & HS407C allowing for fast, easy target acquisition. Internally, the slide is machined to Glock®factory specs, so it'll accept all standard G26 components.

Channel liner required for these slides. Channel liners are a press fit and require a tool to install.

Includes patented optic cut technology pioneered by ZEV Technologies. Patent No. RE47335

Doesn't function - even with Brownell's UPK
Purchased here with Brownell's Glock 26 complete upper parts kit - used on Gen 4 lower with factory barrel. Professionally assembled at Glock armorer. Nothing but light primer strikes. No idea if the issue was the upper itself or the parts kit, but they should function together. Will be returning to Brownells.

Rusting apart
I have had this for 3 years. After about 2 years it started to rust badly. Rust around the Red dot and Tritium sights and at the bottom of and on the sides of the tactile grooves. Very disappointed in the long term value of this item. I would have gladly paid more for a proper finish. Glock OEM slides do not rust!

Improperly Machined
The firing pin channel on this slide wasn't machined correctly. Channel liner didn't install...1/4 short. Firing pin assembly wouldn't install...1/4 short. Returning for a replacement, hoping this was from a defective run. My Brownell's 17 RMR slide is perfect.

Disappointment
Failed after literally 20 rounds and 5 minutes. Blew out the firing pin hole

RUSTING
Really don't like the cut on the top. All it does it let dirt into the gun. Whatever the finish on this slide it is corroding badly and in numerous places. This is just from month of carrying in an appendix holster. I have never had a stock Glock slide rust but this thing looks bad after just 30 days of wear. I also have an extraction issue with this slide. Have not determined if it is the slide or perhaps a defective slide part. My guess is the slide.
