The Brownells Iron Sight Slide for Glock®19® Gen3 enables you to build a custom Glock®-style pistol with a slide that sports distinctive cocking serrations. The front serrations aid in manipulating the slide, especially for quick chamber checks AND for clearing the occasional jam (caused by problem ammo, of course!). Both the front and rear serrations are cut to the same depth as the Glock® factory slide serrations to ensure preservation of structural rigidity. The top edges and the front around the muzzle area are chamfered to reduce the risk of snagging on clothing and to make holstering the pistol easier. You can get your Brownells Iron Sight Slide for Glock® 19 Gen3 with a solid top and wraparound front cocking serrations.

Like all Brownells slides, the Iron Sight model for Glock® 19 Gen3 is precision machined from solid 17-4 stainless steel billet to factory specifications inside so it is compatible with any factory or aftermarket Gen3 internal components. Outside, there's a Glock® factory rear sight dovetail and a standard Glock® front sight tenon cut ready for any factory or aftermarket sights you choose. This is the perfect companion "top-half" for a custom pistol built on a Polymer80 80% frame.

Iron Sight Glock Replacement Slides

If you could only make these slides more like the Generation 5 Glock slides but gor the generation 3 slides that have the benefit of Front Side Only grip serrations, without Your added serrations on the Top Front (Rear Sides & Front Sides Only) being also on the Top of the Slide, they are cosmetically Ugly and don't add much more benefit if you would just have the cuts for grip on both sides, Front & Back. This would be an asset that would implore more enthusiasts to purchase & probably several. I hope someone who could influence this change is listening here. Regards & Stay Safe.

Great on Glock gen 3 lower

I was real impressed with the fit and finish of this slide, it assembled easy with Glock upper parts kit and went on my Glock gen 3 lower no problrms but for some reason this slide wont fit on my Polymer80 Glock 19 lower. I have no issues with the Glock gen 3 slide or Swenson Glock 19 slide on the polymer 80 lower either. So if you are looking at this slide for your polymer 80 build I wouldnt recommend this slide.
