Rugged and accurate.

As a Patrol Rifle and Firearms instructor for my P.D., I have this mounted on the M4 I use while training and teaching. It's been through the ringer and has withstood hundred's of rounds fired. Maybe close to 7000 since I installed it. Our department has an EOTech mounted on each of our Rifles we use on Patrol. Very accurate and holds it's zero verrry well. Nothing negative to say about this great kit.

Outstanding

An excellent optic, significantly more compact than other Eotech models. Also, the use of 123A batteries makes it easy to streamline your powersource with lighting and other electronics.

I will buy another one!

Shooting at 50, 100 & 200 yards the sight is extrememly accurate with fast target aquisition. I have it mounted on a Stag AR15 5.56 mm 16" flat top. I'm very happy with it! [@]

Best EO Tech yet.

Great EO Tech. The XPS version of EO Tech's great product saves railspace and looks great on my new AR-15!

Expensive but nice...

Mounted it to a Larue mount on a 9mm AR carbine. Don't know if I'd put one on a real rifle, but for plinking at 5-50 yards it works perfectly. Reticle is made up of small dots...takes a bit to get used to it. No problems with battery life or anything else.

This thing is FAST and ACCURATE. Could not ask for much more from a sight.

XPS addresses important issues

The transverse mounting of the battery addresses a durability issue common with the other EO Tech models where the battery springs would weaken under repeated recoil and cause the units to turn off during use when contact was broken. This was most prevelant with ones using heavier batteries like the AA models. The new design also saves space and weight, always a plus. Still retains the excellent benefits of the holographic system and circle dot reticle. This is the only EO Tech I'd recommend over an Aimpoint and only because of the better reticle. If they could address the battery life issues making them more compeditive with the Aimpoints I think the EO Tech XPS series would be an ideal system.
