XD 16rd Mags

Great upgrade from my AWB 10 round magas. These are true factory magazines from Springfeild Armory. The springs are nice and strong and the 16 witness holes all work great.

Factory mag/holds 16

I have six of their 10 round magazines that came with my XD Mod 2 9mm. Loading the 8th through the 10th rounds are difficult. I thought that with the sixteen round magazine the spring would be lighter and loading easier. That was not the case for me. Thirteen through sixteen were difficult to load and I had to use a magazine loader to get the rounds in. The grip extensions that came with my extended ten round magazines work with the 16 round mags. I have an XD Compact 45 and loading those magazines are a piece of cake. The quality is very good. I like the mags except for the stiff springs.
