THE Best
The foam with the extended applicator is the ultimate. To use it properly so it does get all over the place....push that tube on the applicator hard into your chamber's shoulder/neck junction to seal it off and hold it there. A quarter of a second burst is all you need. It will expand and fill up the barrel. Most of time, right away, you see a blue to a dark blue indigo color...that's the copper so you know it's working.
wipe out cleaner
over the years i have tried many products for gun cleaning, and i have just recently tried this product, and it is the best so far!!!! fill the bore, let it set, and then wipe it clean...try it on a gun that you think is clean and then you will be amazed at how "un-clean" it really is....you"ll throw all your brushes away!!!
This stuff is great!
Simple and easy to use, comes out in a thick foam like shaving cream. Fill the barrel, let it sit and then wipe it out. Had a .22 rimfire pistol that was difficult to chamber cartridges, after cleaning with Wipe Out, they now slide in and out effortlessly. I'm a believer and will use this on all my pistols!
It's Magic
This product will do the job just follow the instructions. I would work hours trying to get my rifle barrel clean it was a job until a follow shooter told me about the product. I bought a bottle went home and started cleaning I following the instructions wow! what a difference the in barrel came out spotless . I also tried it on my other rifles I cleaned prior. I thought was clean they were not but now are. If you want a CLEAN barrel use this product.
Fast and easy.
Been shooting for over 40 years, seen a lot of things come out on the market that didn't work, Although still a use for some of the old products like JB bore paste, when it comes to cleaning between strings in a "match barrel" this product is the fastest and easiest without the mess and is one that does it all.."No using a powder solvent then copper remover"; it does both well in one product..This may get it too clean as a bullet needs powder and copper to ride on not stainless...In a factory barrel some just don't shoot well when super clean and there has to be a fouled barrel in this case to fill in the course machining they are typical of..After using this in; match barrel, one fouler and your back in business, factory barrel you'll need to foul it again...Overall much better and safer to leave in overnight too...Good product...
Best barrel cleaner yet
I have tried many barrel cleaners over the years and in my humble opinion this stuff is the best. Get a rod guide that fits your gun well, squirt the foam in until it comes out the muzzle, let it soak and run two or three dry patches through, repeat until patches come out clean without blue or dark carbon color. I dislike brushing and find ammonia cleaners to be too slow and messy. I finish up with a couple patches of Kroil or Ballistol for perservation. Don't forget a couple of fowling shots before getting serious because most rifles will not shoot that first post cleaning shot to the same point of aim. How do I know this?
Hands Down THE Best!
I own a TV type bore scope so I can easily see inside of my barrels. I shoot often. I wish that I could post a pic of my gun cleaning supply shelves, I've tried everything and NOTHING comes close to this product. You owe it to yourself to try a can. Just use it in a gun that you think is clean. This product will save you hours of tedious bore cleaning. Thank goodness that I stumbled across this product! If everyone knew about Wipe-Out, all other bore cleaners would go out of business. Are you getting my drift?
Works Great for me!!
I clean centerfire rifle only. I'm never in a hurry, so I always allow it to sit at least 12 hours. The barrel always comes clean. I've read that others using different products claim their favorite always removes more copper after using another cleaner first. Twice, I've allowed my rifle to go through a 2nd 12 hours plus soak & I've never gotten at trace of blue on my patch on the2nd cleaning. My logic tells me, if it removed copper the first time & any was left behind, a 2nd soak would certainly show traces of copper if there was any there. I don't believe it's possible for it to not work a 2nd time if there was any copper left. So I assume it always gets all of it the first time. However, I've never tried allowing a short soak of 15-60 minutes, because I'm never in a hurry.
wipe out rules
I have been using wipe-out for a few years and all I can say is this stuff works great. I don't even work for them and I would recommend to everyone.
