Great so far I bought the bit set along with the Winchester/Rossi 92 set with handle…they also will get used on a few other guns I have!

The bits worked very well. Not all standard bits will fit some screws on my Marlin, these worked.
Everything you need, nothing you don't
If you want high quality screwdriver bits for your Marlin 336, you could buy a full set of gunsmith screwdriver bits, or you could buy just the specific ones you need. These are just the right bits for all the screws you need to address in an affordable set. As a side benefit, since there are only six bits in this set, you don't have to do as much searching to find the right bit- six choices! Most people already own a hex screwdriver handle, so there's no redundancy. If you own several firearms you need screwdrivers for then buy a good kit, but these could still come in handy in your range bag.
Fit well, good quality
These fit very securely in the screws of my Winchester 94 (post 64). One screw head was very tight, but it worked fine. No damage to screws or bits after disassembly/reassembly. Important note: it's pretty obvious from the product photos and description that this set only contains the bits. That means you do need to have a driver handle with a socket that fits the bits. I used a handle I had from a cheap driver set and it worked great. Definitely recommend this set.
Perfit fit, highest quality set
I recently received my first order from Brownell. I ordered rifle specific screw driver sets. This set fits the slots of screws on the Winchester Model 94 Pre-64 perfectly. No slop, a firm fit. I I checked all the screws in the receiver and the rest of the rifle to make sure they were snug. These are the finest quality American made bits. I also bought the Magnetic Law Enforcement Handle. (080-066-004). The bits fit firmly in the handle, no slop. You get what you pay for!
