Excellent fit
Good construction, nice finish, no difference with the original .
Well made and fits my 1943 P38
I was glad to see that this fits my 1943 Mauser P38. Functions just as well as the original.
Just as the original P-38 made in 1943
Haven't used yet, but they look identical to the original one.
Functional
It seems a little Rough finish under the blueing (sanding marks) and it fit a bit tight in the mag well. I ran a couple of full clips through without any issues.
Hard to find magazine
I purchased 2ea of the P-38 9 mm magazines. They are well made. Perform well. Are hard to find these days. A good product at a good price.
never ever
won't fit in p38 !! won't lock open on last round
Fell apart upon use, holes don't line up
The picture is not the magazine you will get. (not a big deal) Works great with my aluminum frame 1962 marked gun, magazine falls right out and slip right in. Fired 150 rounds without any jams and only a few failures to lock back, even with some hollow points. (had three of these magazines) The holes for counting the ammo left don't quite work. The worst thing is while at the range I was swapping magazines and had the magazine with a firm grasp and slapped in the fresh magazine. As I gave it a good palm slap into the well the magazine the base plate slid off causing the spring and retainer plate shoot off into another dimension. I found the spring with ease but the locking plate can't be found anywhere. Now I have a magazine that can't hold itself together at all. I contacted the manufacturer and it has been a week, I have not gotten any reply. I think these can be great for range use if they were a bit more sturdy or at least had a loop to hold the magazine insert onto the spring. I think I will try promag for range shooting.
